1st Youth Library Events
Registration for youth and teen summer reading begins June 1. Non-adult participants are invited to set a goal as to how many books they would like to read this summer. Free events for teens in June include: "60 Second Skills" June 17th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Twilight Party June 29th from 8-11 p.m. Events for Children include: Board Games Tidal Tuesday on June 15, Arts and Crafts Tidal Tuesday on June 22, and Movie Time Tidal Tuesday on June 29. Adventure Bootcamp Gives Back

Firecracker 5,000 25th Anniversary
The 25th Annual Time Warner Cable Hilton Head Firecracker 5,000 Road Race and Family Fun Walk will be held on July 4 at 8 a.m. from the Mall at Shelter Cove. The festive post-race celebration features live music, fresh fruit, ice cold refreshments, door prizes and more.
