Beauty That Lasts

- Beauty That Lasts -

In 2013, there were more than 2.2 million injectable filler procedures, which makes fillers the second most popular nonsurgical cosmetic procedure and the fastest growing. And it’s almost 2018! Do you love the more youthful look that dermal fillers provide, but wish the results weren’t so temporary?
Bellafill® lasts through 5 years and is a unique, injectable collagen filler with microspheres that can instantly smooth facial wrinkles for beautiful, natural-looking correction that lasts years instead of months. Read on to find out if Bellafill is right for you!

What is Bellafill? Bellafill is a dermal filler that has received FDA approval for the correction and reduction of nasolabial folds (smile lines) and acne scars. It is available to both men and women. It is also considered a near permanent solution that can restore volume and fullness to the skin.

How Does it Work?
Bellafill contains PMMA microspheres, a biocompatible material that is suspended in collagen. This material has been safely used in medical implants and other devices for more than 65 years.

Is Bellafill Right For You?
Bellafill is best if you already know that you like what a soft tissue filler can do for your face. Bellafill is best for folds or lines around the lower mouth called marionette lines; it is not recommended for areas with thinner skin such as crow’s feet around the eyes or “smokers lines” around the mouth.

How is Bellafill Different?
Bellafill is the first and only treatment approved by the FDA for reduction of the appearance of acne scars.

Are There Any Risks or Side Effects?
As with any other injectable dermal filler, you could experience mild redness or swelling at the treatment site, which are usually temporary. In some cases, mild bruising can be experienced. Again, this will usually disappear within a few days.

Where Can I Get Bellafill?

SunGate Medical Group, under the direction of Dr. Kenneth Farr, has been using Bellafill as an injection for over three years, which is the longest of any medical practice in the Beaufort County area.

Call today or visit one of our convenient locations for a free consultation to see if Bellafill is right for you! We are located near Indigo Run on Hilton Head Island at 4 Dunmore Court and near Sun City in Okatie at 10 William Pope Drive.
