Relay for Life
The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is the world’s largest and most impactful fundraising event to end cancer. It unites communities across the globe to celebrate people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and take action to finish the fight once and for all. 11th Annual Yacht Hop

Step aboard stunning yachts from 5:30–9 p.m., docked in Sea Pines Resort’s Harbour Town Yacht Basin, and enjoy wine and mouth-watering hors d’oeuvres freshly prepared by some of the area’s premier chefs! This fundraising event also includes entertainment courtesy of The Headliners, as well as silent and live auctions. The evening closes with dessert and a champagne toast. SOBA Opening Reception
Enjoy the works of over 100 member artists at the opening reception from 5-7 p.m. The Society of Bluffton Artist (SOBA) welcomes Lynda Potter as the featured artist. “Quintessential Bluffton” will showcase Potter’s latest collection of lovely floral and architectural paintings. Community Beach Bike Ride
The Community Beach Bike Ride at Coligny starts Saturday, May 9th at 9:00 a.m. at Coligny Beach Park. The ride, organized by the Town of Hilton Head Island and the Bicycle Advisory Committee is an open-to-all free bike ride from Coligny Beach to Palmetto Dunes and back.

Pink Partini & Little Black Dress Contest!

5:30 – 8 p.m.  Put on your little black dress and show off your style at the Pink Partini at the NEW exciting Rooftop Bar atop Poseidon Coastal Cuisine waterfront in Shelter Cove Towne Centre.  Enjoy $5 Partini martinis and $4 wine-by-glass. Great prizes for the top 3 “little black dress” winners and as always, fabulous prizes, galore!

Paws and Balls Team Tennis
Join us for a weekend of tennis to benefit the Hilton Head Humane Society.  This event is open to the public and presented by Hilton Head Plastic Surgery. $50 entry fee per player, per roster.  Registration includes: T-shirt, 2 drink tickets for player’s party, lunch on Saturday, light breakfast Saturday and Sunday and prizes for top scoring teams, most creative team name and most creative team uniform. Safety Town for Children
9:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.  and 1-3 p.m. Presented by Rotary Club. A free program for Hilton Head children ages 4-6 with a goal of teaching children to be safe and preventing injuries. Registration will be limited to the first 150 children. Children will drive pedal cars around “town”, visit a “hazard house” to learn about safety at home, and learn about first aid. 3rd Annual Fiesta de Mayo at Shelter Cove Park
12 -9 p.m.  La Isla Magazine presents the 3rd annual Fiesta de Mayo. This year’s festival will feature “Dancing with the Stars Competition”. The celebration will also include dancing, a couples dance competition, Latin and Caribbean food, cultural performances, kids’ activities and much more. 2015 Gullah Festival
The festival focuses on education and cultural preservation of the African American Gullah heritage in the Lowountry. $80 Weekend Pass includes: Friday Festival Ticket, Friday Caribbean Dance Ticket, Saturday Festival Ticket, Sunday Festival Ticket. Also new for 2015, is the Friday Night Caribbean Concert. Tickets are $20 in advance.  Enjoy an evening under the stars filled with music, dance and fun. The festival is at the Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park located at 1010 Bay Street in Beaufort, South Carolina. The gates for the festival will open Friday 10am- 11pm, Saturday 10am-11pm and Sunday 9am-6pm.

A Spring Affair Luncheon
1 - 3  p.m.  Hilton Head Island Safe Harbour invites you to a luncheon at the Country Club of Hilton Head’s Magnolia Room in Hilton Head Plantation.
