DURING JUNE 

Gregg Russell Concert Series
8:00 p.m.-9:30 p.m.  Every night except Saturdays. Over the years, Gregg Russell has become a classic at The Sea Pines Resort. You’ll find him under the famed Liberty Oak in Harbour Town, entertaining adults and children alike, and his concerts are not to be missed. Complimentary.

Local Visitors’ Concerts
Saturdays in Harbour Town from 7:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m. “Local Visitors” is a young, talented band of four Island-raised musicians turned college students. Their fun, energetic music blends styles and songs from the 60s to modern day, and is known to leave fans tapping their feet and dancing along. 

Exhibition: “Mark Maute: Me and my Friends”

Exhibit: Lowcountry through Time
Coastal Discovery Museum Gallery Hours: 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Mon-Sat; 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. Sun. Local Artist Chris Clayton has created a visual timeline of Lowcountry history through his paintings. From the Yemassee Indians through the Plantation Era, from the Civil War and beyond. 70 Honey Horn Drive, HHI . No charge for gallery admission.

JUNE 5-7
2015 Inspired Homes 
Tour sponsored by Coastal Living and Southern Living.
At Habersham, South Carolina. Two houses—one designed by J. Banks and the other by Brown Design Studio—will be featured in the Habersham Community near Beaufort, selected by Southern Living as the only “inspired” community in South Carolina. Friday & Saturday: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday: 11 a.m.-4 p.m. $10 per person  For more info go to www.HabershamSC.com.

JUNE 5
Society of Bluffton Artists (SOBA) presents Color and Space by Linda Clapp

5:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. Opening reception.  A collection of Linda Clapp's oil and acrylic paintings will be featured through July 4.  Works by other SOBA members are also on display. Gallery Hours:  10 a.m.-5: p.m. Monday-Saturday; 11:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Sundays.  SOBA Gallery is located at the corner of Church and Calhoun Streets, Bluffton;  Admission is Free.

ain Street Youth Theatre presents: Improv Workshop

10:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Stuart Mott, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, who spends most of his time acting in the Chicago area, will lead the workshop. Tuition: $30/student  300 Main St., HHI;  843-689-6246.

Garden a Day Week
Stroll through beautiful private gardens at The Beaufort Garden Club’s 19th Annual Garden a Day event. Monday, June 8 at 801 Prince Street, Beaufort and 705 Washington Street, Beaufort; Tuesday, June 9 at 130 Old Plantation Dr. East, Beaufort.Wednesday, June 10 at 19 Wade Hampton Drive, Lady’s Island. Thursday, June 11 at 11 Molly Hill Drive, St. Helena Island. Friday, June 12 at 411 Craven Street, Beaufort. Each day 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. rain or shine.  Admission is complimentary. Hilton Head Island Ski Club will hold its monthly TGIF Happy Hour 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Holy Tequila, 33 Office Park Rd., HHI.

JUNE 15-18
GSSM iTeams Xtreme
The South Carolina Governor's School for Science and Mathematics is bringing iTeams Xtreme to Beaufort County.  This is a day camp meant to inspire rising 7th and 8th graders across the Palmetto State to become computer scientists, engineers and entrepeneurs.  Students will participate in activities including creating Xtreme mobile apps, interactive objects and 3D models.  Located at Bluffton Middle School. 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. daily. Cost: $285 per student, includes instructional materials and snacks. For more information log onto Beaufortsc.org.

The Healtchare Network Group of the Lowcountry 
Inaugural Wellness Expo
9:00 a.m.-noon. Make a healthy start to your summer by attending this educational event. There will be a variety of free and low cost health screenings—blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, PSA tests and more. There is no charge to attend and is open to all ages.
