For some women, it’s all about the face. More than any other part of the body, the face gets the most scrutiny, especially in that lit-up magnifying mirror you more than likely have in your bathroom.

We all stare into that mirror ignoring our beauty and dwelling on the fine lines, marionette lines, smile lines, crows feet, 11s, and all the other catchy-termed lines which simply mean wrinkles. Some women are perfectly fine with the inevitable signs of aging. After all, they are an outward nod to having the honor of age, wisdom, and longevity, all things to be proud of that many people do not get the chance to experience. But on the other side of the spectrum, many women say Bah-humbug to the signs of aging and long for a more youthful appearance. And lucky for this group, there are new and improved technologies for combatting that mean magnifying mirror.

One such technology that has powerfully entered the skin care and aesthetics market is Emface, offering the newest advancements for improved facial toning and tightening. Emface is a non-invasive, non-surgical alternative to a facelift that uses radio frequency (RF) and high intensity focused electromagnetic stimulation (HIFES) technology to produce amazing results.

Unlike neurotoxins, such as Botox, which overtime thins the skin and causes a crepey appearance and premature aging, Emface stimulates collagen and elastin production. This cutting-edge combination delivers a radiant skin tone and glow, offering rejuvenating benefits to patients of nearly any age, regardless of whether they’re looking for a little lift or hoping to combat stubborn wrinkles. Patients experience facelift results with no surgery needed.

How Emface works:
First of all, this treatment does not require any incisions or injections. The Emface RF and HIFES technology precisely and comfortably targets and heats the muscles within your face. It then isolates the facial muscles which provide lift, and by simultaneously utilizing both RF and HIFES, it also strengthens those muscles. The results are a fuller face where once it may have looked sunken or saggy. There are also benefits of this treatment as it smoothes out some of the common signs of aging, as it tightens and tones.

What to Expect:
Emface is completely painless. A certified and trained aesthetician will easily place the Emface applicator pads on your areas of concern. Over the course of 20 minutes, the Emface device will deliver RF and HIFES into the facial muscles for sculpted results. You can literally shut your eyes and rest or daydream. After a series of Emface sessions, the toned muscles create a firmer more youthful appearance. It’s like your face went to the gym!

So You Know:
Emface is indicated for treatment to the following areas: forehead; eyebrows; cheeks; chin; neck; jaws; and even for TMJ. Emface can help reduce the appearance of: wrinkles; uneven skin tone; undefined cheekbones; sagging skin; uneven texture; loss of volume; frown lines; and TMJ pain.

How do I know Emface is safe?
The Emface facial toning device has been approved by the FDA for its ability to safely and effectively treat concerns with facial tone and texture. This means Emface was thoroughly reviewed in clinical trials for its safety and efficacy. Because it’s non-invasive, it also avoids the risks of complications or possible long-term undesirable results following traditional surgical facelifts.

How long will it take to see results from Emface?
To see the best results, it will take at several sessions depending on the each individual’s current condition and desired results. Your body will need time to strengthen the facial muscles and rebuild the elastin and collagen lost over the years. As this happens, you will notice a difference in your face, with optimal results occurring approximately 4 to 6 weeks following your last treatment.

Is there any downtime?
Emface requires no recovery time! You can resume normal activities immediately after the treatment. After the procedure, some patients notice slight tingling in the treated area for up to a few hours or slight muscle tenderness for 24 to 72 hours.

How often should I get Emface treatments?
It is recommended getting Emface treatments each week for the recommended number of initial treatments. However, we may determine you need them more frequently for the best results. Our aesthetician will determine this during your consultation. After your initial round of treatments, you can expect to get a maintenance treatment once every six months or so. But if you prefer to maintain your results at their very best, you may opt to receive maintenance treatments more frequently. It all depends on your goals, but we will help create the right plan for you based on your needs.

Add on Exion:
Exion is a state-of-the-art device new to the market that thoroughly remodels the face and neck. It harnesses your bodies’ natural healing power to tighten, smooth, and rejuvenate “tired” skin. The face applicator delivers the power of radio frequency (RF) and targeted ultrasound to reveal youthful looking skin in the face and neck with more elasticity, definition, and radiance. It boosts your own natural production of hyaluronic acid by 224%. Like Emface, it is painless, safe, and requires no downtime.

The microneedling applicator greatly minimizes discomfort common with other devices on the market. It utilizes a one-pass over the face technique, allowing more benefits with less discomfort.

With the combination of both the Emface and Exion devices, many patients are experiencing gratifying results. Through Ocean Aesthetics and Wellness, my professional team and I are excited to bring this powerful and healthier option for skin care to our area. Our passion for health and wellness runs deep, supporting our patient’s goals, no matter how large or small.
