My biggest accomplishment so far: I am most proud of the title I hold now of USA National Preteen. It was such an honor to win this title and it is something I put a lot of time and effort into and prepared for.

My thoughts on bullying: Bullying is not okay. Approximately 160,000 U.S. students stay home from school each day from fear of being bullied. Kids need to be made aware of the signs to look for, how to stand up against it and report it if it doesn’t stop. I will be making appearances at schools promoting the anti-bullying platform, The Crown C.A.R.E.S. (Creating a Respectful Environment in Schools), and teaching kids how to address bullying and help them prevent it in their classrooms and schools. Every child deserves a safe learning environment.

My favorite musical instrument is: I like playing the violin, but I really enjoy playing the steel drum. I learned to play in an after school club and instantly fell in love. I look forward to learning how to play multiple drums at the same time.

There’s hope in my generation because: Being in pageants has taught me to be confident, to appreciate the talents and gifts God has given me, the importance of giving your time and helping others. Kindness goes a long way and being a leader is easier than I thought. I initiated the Jr. Beta Club at my school last year and was elected as the first President. The Beta Club motto is “Let us lead by serving others.” Leading by example is a wonderful way to live, and with more than 450,000 active Beta members in our country, we have a lot of youth leaders who are living by this motto. This is an example of why our generation has hope.

Keep Calm and… Give Your Time. Time is the greatest gift you can give.

My favorite subject in school is: Definitely math. I was able to complete Pre-Algebra in the 6th grade and can’t wait to continue on to Algebra 1 and Geometry. A big thanks to Dr. Baird, Mrs. Fletcher, Ms. Cotter and all my teachers at SPMA for keeping me motivated. I love my school!

I can’t live without: My family! My family is really close, and we do almost everything together. We love to travel, play games (especially Mexican train), and Sunday dinners at Grandma’s are my favorite.

My favorite fashion icon is: I think fashion goes beyond what you wear and your personality plays a huge part in how your style is developed and perceived by others. One of my role models is Taylor Swift and I admire her style/fashion, the way she gives back to her fans, her commitment to her family and I really love her music!

The coolest thing in my closet is: My Allstar Panthers uniform! I have been a member of the Allstar Panthers competitive cheer gym for the past five years and I love my Panther family. I am currently competing on two teams and hit the gym four days a week to practice.
