Ready. Set. Go Watch the Sunset.

Sunsets-0714

There is a spectacular show almost every day in the Lowcountry. No ticket is required, as it is free. Each showing is different and some are so spectacular they will take your breath away. This show is the daily sunset.

Beautiful sunsets are described by using cream of the crop verbiage of the English language. Words such as magnificent, stunning, breathtaking, awe-inspiring, impressive, glorious, splendid and majestic are just a few descriptions used when one is an observant spectator of that magical time of the evening when dusk begins to darken the day and the sun leaves us behind with promises of tomorrow.

If you haven’t purposely taken the time to seek out and watch the sunset lately (or ever), you must before the month is over. Watching the sunset allows us to connect with nature, reflect upon the day and think about tomorrow. It wondrously infuses our spirits with peacefulness.
