What’s your favorite thing about being a “Home Girl” of the Lowcountry?
I love the cultural authenticity of the South. The Lowcountry has its own design characteristics, and I love helping people achieve their own look, whether it be relaxed Lowcountry, bright coastal or modern city. Helping clients find joy and peace in the ambiance of their home brings me great pleasure.

What makes your services/company unique?
In today’s world of disconnect I believe my communication skills make a difference. I ensure my clients know where we are in the process at all times. This is so important when you’re trying to transform the most lived-in rooms in your home like the kitchen and bath.

How does helping people make a difference in your life?

I get so excited and fulfilled when my clients are excited and satisfied because their house has become their home—a total reflection of who they are and what they wanted. I’m so happy to get to be a part of that.

What project are you most proud of?
I’m proud of every project I do—large or small. However, I had a customer who came to me with a finished plan created by a “big city” kitchen designer. All this customer wanted was pricing. I thought, “Well, this is going to be easy!” But, when I got to her home to measure the space, I immediately realized the plan did not maximize her space or reflect her vision. I asked if it would be okay if I offered some suggestions. We discussed alternatives to her “set-in-stone” plan and revamped it to both function and look much better. She was thrilled with the results, which are beautiful. It made me so proud to have made a difference for her.
