“In my paintings, I want to portray a glimpse rather than the whole story. This allows the viewer to participate with the painting by completing the vignette any way he or she feels to. As one completes the painting in the minds eye, each piece will hopefully arouse nostalgic memories of grandpa’s time on the farm, the smell of the ranch growing up, or even a self portrait.”
